AEAI’s new president, Jean Boumal, of the Solvay Group, became seriously ill and disabled a short time after his election. The Deputy President, François Settembrino, Risk Manager at the holding company Tabacofina, was invited to take the chair. Ten years later, at retirement he was named Honorary President.
