Keynote speaker

With Risk Manager in Pole Position as our conference theme, we have a very appropriate opening keynote speaker. He is Mark Gallagher, Managing Director for CMS Motor Sport and co-owner of Status Grand Prix. Mark has also held senior roles with the Jordan and Red Bull Racing Formula One teams.

Europe at the crossroads

Europe continues to face uncertainties about its future direction, despite more positive economic indicators. Negotiations over Britain’s exit, rising populism, changing relationships with United States including on climate change are all on the European agenda. A panel of experts from different sectors will assess the risks and opportunities. The panel members include:

  • Karel Kovanda, Senior European Policy Advisor at Covington & Burling, Czech former Ambassador to NATO and former Deputy Director-General for External Relations in the European Commission;
  • Kadidja Sinz, Head of Europe, Liberty Specialty Markets;
  • Ludovic Subran, Chief Economist and Director for Economic Research, Euler Hermes.
